Our Company

Lethbridge Physiotherapy is the longest running private clinic in Lethbridge. For over 30 years, we have been proud to provide excellent physiotherapy and kinesiology services to people in Lethbridge and the surrounding areas. We offer a wide range of treatments including, but not limited to: Acupuncture, IMS (Intra-Muscular Stimulation), Kinesio-Taping, Manual Therapy (which includes a variety of mobilizing and manipulative techniques), Modalities (LASER, Ultrasound, Interferential, Muscle Stimulation, TENS, and Traction.)

Our Team

Shauna Armstrong – Raised in Lethbridge, Shauna left to attend University of Alberta. She holds a degree in Physical Education, received in 1991, and graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1994. Shauna joined Lethbridge Physiotherapy in 1996, and became one of the owners in 2003. Expanding her education, Shauna has taken many courses and is certified in acupuncture and IMS needling.
Claire Cox – Originally from Birmingham England, Claire graduated from the Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy in 1979, and has been practicing in a wide range of physiotherapy disciplines since. She has been working as a physiotherapist in Lethbridge beginning in 1983, and joined Lethbridge Physiotherapy in 1993. Over time, Claire has gained experience in many areas of physiotherapy and has a special interest in shoulder injuries, especially when related patients with breast cancer or sport related problems.
Irene Balutis – Practicing Physiotherapy since 1978, Irene left the big cities of Calgary and Edmonton to join Lethbridge Physiotherapy in 2002. Irene is certified in Acupuncture and IMS needling, and is continually diversifying her Physiotherapy repertoire. She is known for treatment of patients with shoulder injuries and TMJ. As an outdoor enthusiast, she can often be spotted hiking in the coulees, kayaking the Old Man River, or cross-country skiing in Waterton Lake National Park.
rory2 Rory McMullin – Born and raised in Lethbridge, Rory completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Lethbridge before heading down under to complete his Physiotherapy degree in Auckland, New Zealand. Rory has a keen interest in Osteoarthritis and Sports Injuries. On his free time he enjoys travelling and surfing waves. Rory is the medic for the LCI Rams Rugby team and enjoys training for adventure runs and Crossfit.
Eric Haapa-aho – With such an unusual last name, Eric often gets asked if he comes from Hawaii. However, Eric is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario with a Finnish heritage. He graduated from Lakehead University in 1993 with a degree in Kinesiology and 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He joined Lethbridge Physiotherapy in 1997, and became one of the owners in 2003.
Erika Borthwick – The first smiling face you will likely see as you come through the door. Our receptionist is an efficient multi-tasker, focusing on the needs of our clients. Erika is willing to help with any scheduling or billing needs. Good jokes are always appreciated.
Charlene Schow – Char is the newest member of our team. She has a wide base of experience including signing abilility for the hearing impaired and years of Aquatics experience.
Arielle  Arielle Faherty – Arielle is a recently graduated Physiotherapy Assistant. She has flawlessly fit in with our staff as she did her practicum with us.
trevor Trevor Fast – Trevor is a 2016 graduate from the Lethbridge college program. He has resided in Lethbridge for the past ten years but was born and raised in Calgary. He has enjoyed sun gazing for the past 6 years. He is a hardcore Raptors and Blue Jays fan but when it comes to hockey he is true to his hometown Calgary Flames.
